The ISG did come up with some decent ideas on the oil trust and they did not call for immediate withdrawal of troops, in fact they tied eventual withdrawal to certain security needs being met.<BR/><BR/>The nonstarters in the ISG are probably the tying together of israel and Iraq. As for Iran, <A HREF="http://wwww.biglizards.net/blog" REL="nofollow"> Dafydd </A> made interesting note of the idea of "disincitives" in the ISG in regards to Iran. In other words it was not all about giving them something, it was also about doing unpleasant things to the mullahs. However, I doubt that will be enough to get Bush to go along with that.
