Once in 1980 (or thereabouts). This was before the restoration of the ceiling. I was impressed, of course, but the sheer effort that must have been involved in painting just the ceiling, let alone all the other art in the chapel. But I was not impressed with the art. It looked, of course, dull.<br /><br />I returned in the early 90s ('93 IIRC). There was still scaffolding present but the ceiling was all but completely resorted. <br /><br />What a difference!
