Turn Up The Bass

So, you think politics is a bit rough? It just turned a tad rougher.

I really can't think of anything to write that expresses my feelings about this. Contempt just doesn't fit.

UPDATE: I was wondering how Dean was going to keep his job.

  1. I don't understand the conviction of these folks that homosexuality is a killer issue and Republican voters will swoon. Geez, when are they going to grow up.

  2. DT,

He claims it's a Rep. This could be a bluff, it could be a publicity grab or it could be true.

What the "person" doing this doesn't realize is that the payback will be considerably rougher than the first go. Amateur hour at the zoo.

  3. What's next? Beating Republican Senators in the Senate with a cane?

  4. My empathic powers tell me that these people are unhappy.

Not safe for work! Warning, Koslings at play.

However, we should accept that these are simply our fellow Americans expressing their views, and therefore we should not demonize them.

Loading them on a rocket and shooting them into the sun, on the other hand, is a definite possibility.

  6. rogera,

A firm split followed by the DLC rump becoming the base is the most likely outcome. The problem is Clinton's involvement in the DLC. There are several centrists that could begin the rebuilding process if they could get the crazy aunts off the front porch. It's a tough row to hoe and the will to start isn't going to come until a "critical moment" occurs. 'Til then it's just a matter of erosion.

  7. Rick's right--the DLC--vs the DNC--is the hope for a working near-future two-party system, if only it could disinfect the Clintonism. The MSM wing of the party could actually effect this transformation, if only it didn't have 'stars' in its eyes.

It isn't Kos that's heading the independent registration movement, it's a Kossite posting as mary scott oconnor.
