A new face.

Well new for this job. According to CNN :

Sources close to the White House said Monday that Fox anchor Tony Snow is likely to accept the job as White House press secretary, succeeding Scott McClellan.

Maybe he wants to put them in their place.

  2. Tony Snow is a class act and would be a solid addition to the Bush administration.

    I think so too.

And the press corps is more like a preschool than a snake pit. Snakes are more dignified than that.

  4. I think it would be better to toss a few vipers in rather than a polecat. You'd want to irritate them a bit first to avoid any professional courtesy being extended.

  5. I hope it happens and that he lives up to my expectations, for they are very high.

Tony Snow has always exhibited good humor and sharp intellect along with one of the more pleasant manners on television news.

Those qualities are more necessary than ever for the WH press secretary.

    God bless him.

  6. tony is knowledgeable and a quick thinker. Soon people will be saying why doesn't Bush talk to us like that :)

Poor Scotty. The fact I even say the words 'poor Scotty' shows how much I cringed at the punching bag persona.

  7. Fox has just announced that it will be made official tomorrow morning.

I believe this will be a good development for the War on Islamic Jihadism which, frankly, I am most concerned about.

  8. I think Terrye has it. These people can't intimidate Tony, he already knows where the bodies are buried; and they can't out-talk him.

I also look forward to him wringing Helen's neck and disjointing her like a stringy old hen before Sunday dinner when the Pastor's coming.

Now, is that anyway to talk about a helpless old lady?
