Bush in Baghdad

Good to see you said Maliki.

Thanks for having me said George Bush.

This surprise visit to Iraq is a signal from Bush to his enemies, both domestic and foreign, that he does not intend to cut and run. The new man in Iraq promises an iron fist when dealing with lawlessness.

The Captain has a good post up on the president's trip to Iraq.

They ceased being objective to make room for their subjective support of their paymasters.

I like to think it is just the feel good types enjoying another fling. There is a certain bitter joy in being a biased a*hole and journalists aren't going to pass it up.

There may be some, but I think for the majority it's existential. Their world, and their power over it, has slipped away.

They formed their current narrative on the eve of the Iraq war and fleshed it out when no WMD stockpiles were found.

And that's all they wrote. Literally.

As for Bush in Baghdad? Yahooooooo! Bless him!

I loved the HUGE grin on Maliki's face when they met!

And Chris Matthews and Joe Biden are STILL denying that Iraq has anything to do with the WoT!

Meanwhile AlQaida is promising to continue its war against Shia and Crusaders. Biden is man whose time has passed.
