Looking at the backgrounds I think the dance scenes are from a few movies. The guy with the moustache is Jerry Colonna who was around in the 1940s and 50s (he was in Bob hope movies and also toured with Hope).

Yea. That looks like one of the movies. What's interesting is the 1938 movie about young folks jitterbugging to swing music looks an awful lot like a 1958 movie about kids dancing to rock 'n roll. I imagine every generation has that movie.
