Lego illusions

Mighty Optical Illusions is an always interesting site to visit. Some of my favorite illusions at their site are there Lego illusions. They have a page which links to samples of optical illusions made out of Lego blocks that they have gathered.

However, while the illusions are fascinating, I can't help but wonder how many Dads swipe their kids Legos on Christmas morning so they can play M. C. Escher with them?

Where on earth did you find this thing? I'm not the least religious but this thing shrieks "Blasphemy!"
at me.

Must be the work of the devil.

I was wondering why you were so worked up over Legos, but I was too polite to say anything.

To answer your question, the Pig Idol came from a Bealle's Outlet Store of all places.

I really have no idea what it is supposed to be about. I certainly has a heathen air about it.

Ambi,

Not all that worked up, really. I wish I had one. Humorous. But freaking blasphemous all the same.

Now, about these Lego illusions. As a person who can barely make a recognizable cube out of Legos, I find these creations hurtful and mean-spirited.

And, BTW, Happy New Year to all. I hope your lives are going as well as mine is - too busy but happy and reasonably healthy.

Thanks for a wonderous post
filled many memories of my wife and I swiping our kids legos
when they were alot younger.
Yes, we were guilty of the Christams morning lego heist. Heck, we are in our 50's and
our kids are 17 and 14. We
still will spend hours playing
with legos as a family. Pricless
treasures are these memories!
