Aurora on Jupiter

The Hubble telescope has taken a lot of amazing pictures. The one above of the aurora at tyhe poles of Jupiter really struck me. I always pictured Jupiter's atmosphere to be roiled and seething, but then the aurora would happen at a much higher altitude. Be sure to enlarge the picture for a better view of the aurora.
