Transparent devices

 The Spanish artist Max de Esteban has created a series of photographs called Proposition One. At first appearance they seem to be an odd combination of pencil sketches and x-rays of old consumer devices. 

He achieved the effect by disassembling the devices, painting their parts white, and taking numerous pictures during their reassembly. Those photos were then combined into the final form.
