Vintage motorcycles

Some nice pictures of vintage motorcycles found at La boite verte. I quite like the styling of the one above. Very futuristic looking in a retro sort of a way.

There are more pictures after the jump, and even more at La boite verte.

Nice ... I recognize all of them ... but cannot put a name to that stylized art deco bike.

This bothers me somewhat ... sadly no names at the website either.

I tracked it down. the first one is a 1960 Ameracchi Chimera 250.

The pictures appear to have came from a website called BikeEXIF which has a great collection of old bikes. I wish I would have seen it before I wrote this post -- there are some really great looking old bikes there.

Nice pictures! It certainly provided the readers some ideas about the different designs or models of motorcycles that came out in the market. Although different styles had been manufactured, it cannot negate the fact that motorcycles are essential part of our everyday lives. They are not just our vehicles for transportation but also a tool for recreation and sports.
