Some interesting reading

Via RealClearPolitics there are three interesting stories today.

The TimesOnLine has an interesting piece on the rise of David Cameron, Tories Seize lead in polls. David Cameron's debut as Tory leader has given Tories a surge of support that has put them ahead for the first time in 18 months.

Is Labor on the way out?

Mark Steyn is spot on with But Seriously folks this clown is dangerous in his SunTimes Oped concerning the hostage taker leader of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who recently called for Israel to be wiped off the map of the Middle East and wiped on the map of Europe.

In his Post-Gazette column, Jack Kelly writes Abolish the CIA and start over:CIAO CIA, stating that the spy agency is damaged beyond repair. He notes a recent intel report from the agency saying that Iran is 10 years away from the bomb. This report was followed in a few months by another report on December 5 by Mohammed ElBaradei, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency which "confirmed Israel's asessment that Iran is only a few months away from creating an atomic bomb."

How comforting.
