The Fantasy World of Steven Spielberg

"I'm always in favor of Israel responding strongly when it's threatened. At the same time, a response to a response doesn't really solve anything. It just creates a perpetual-motion machine," ( Steven) Spielberg says. "There's been a quagmire of blood for blood for many decades in that region. Where does it end? How can it end?"

Why do so many people like Steven Spielberg prefer to overcomplicate matters that are actually quite easy to comprehend? Why this silly insistence that the truth is allegedly somewhere in the middle and ultimately everybody is equally guilty? This phony attempt to be fair minded perverts a true understanding of the situation. The conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians nihilists will not end until the latter are killed or jailed. The radical Palestinians wrongly perceive themselves to be victims of Jewish imperialism. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. They are merely self pitying racist jerks motivated by both secular leftism and Islamic extremism. The Israelis have gone out of their way to be fair and helpful toward the Palestinians. In return, they have been targeted for abuse and ultimately expulsion from the Middle East. Let’s make it real simple for everybody: the Israelis are mostly the good guys and the Palestinians are moral monsters. End of story. Is that sufficiently nuanced and open minded for everybody?

David...

there is a map of Israel contrasted
for size
with the Arab world.

not a lot of emotion involved...
...it's quite graphic.

the reality of Arab demands for
posession of Israel/Jerusalem,
in light of this particular map,
show the incredible angst about Judaism that Islam created (in Mohammed)at its founding and has been unable to grow beyond since then.

Well,

Judging by his movies, Steven Spielberg is actually rather stupid and immature. I watched a few of his flicks back in the day and decided that it was highly unlikely that he would ever produce anything I would consider worthwhile. I wrote him off long ago.
