Global Carbon Tax

Oh yes indeed.

The UN has spoken. I was under the impression that in the United States the legislative branch gets the job of administering taxes, not the UN. Kyoto rears its ugly head while we wait for the report and its recommendations. After all the fate of mankind and the very survival of the planet rests on the ability of an international band of thieves, liars and dictators to con the American people into funding yet another boondoggle.

If only it were just a boondogle. The advocates of these "solutions" want to create the environment for less capitalism and more socialism/communism. 1989 wasn't the end of the line.

Given the power these folks want to regulate the climate (ha, ha), I think a good guestion is what temperature is ideal. I have yet to see anyone put that number on the board and support it.

Algore makes an interesting picture at this point. Look at him standing on the podium in Hollywood accepting the Oscar in all his girth, and he says to everyone, "Curb your appetites and consumption."

Physican, heal thyself.

Is Al having any success in curbing his own excess energy consumption? . Heal thyself indeed.
