Collaborative writing software online with Writeboard.

Thee are interesting products. Writeboard, and it's companion products like Backpackit, all use the new AJAX (which stands for something like "advanced javascript and XML") methods to present very rich interfaces in more or less browser independent HTML form. GMAIL is another example of this.

This is particularly interesting, because it makes collaboration on a more or less formally organized document much more effective. It's not a wiki; it's not meant for the kind of free-form, complicated emergent network document that wikis make.

I haven't used it much yet, but I think I will be.

I've noticed some very cool AJAX products coming (think Google Maps if you're not familiar with it yet). Do you have a link for Writeboard?
