I must give credit where it is due. Here's the most recent NYT version of the story which, among other things, gives the background on the alleged perp. It provides a lot of information. I got the information about his medical credentials from the older NYT news article that had not yet contained the information of the perp's arrest.
I hope the Times continues to follow the story with this quality and detail. Like the girl with a curl in the middle of her forehead, "...when [it] is good, [it] is very, very good, but when [it] is bad, [it] is horrid".
