Trouble in Paradise
Some bad news for the embattled President and I am not talking about Bush, this is from Crosspatch over at Strata Sphere , it couldn't happen to a nicer guy as they say:
I suppose that old saw “when it rains, it pours” is an apt description of the problems facing the Iranian president these days. A strategic level military leader has apparently fled the country with his family, he is under renewed attack from his political opposition for his handling of the economy, the teachers arestriking demonstrating, the meeting with the King of Saudi Arabia apparently went badly and now we have news that he has possibly alienated the Syrians and the alliance with Syria could be under some strain. None of the items individually are show-stoppers but taken together they are a telling commentary of a government that appears to be coming apart at the seams.
