Sausages affected by draconian trade laws - Britain - Times Online

Sausages affected by draconian trade laws - Britain - Times Online: "A SPICY sausage known as the Welsh Dragon will have to be renamed after trading standards’ officers warned the manufacturers that they could face prosecution because it does not contain dragon.

The sausages will now have to be labelled Welsh Dragon Pork Sausages to avoid any confusion among customers."

Do Welsh Dragons make good pets?

Why do I suspect the name Welsh Dragon would not be criticized, or at least not near the top of the list, if it were actually made with beef instead of pork?

Heaven forbid some unsuspecting religious nut should think there's no fatwa forbidding dragon meat so Welsh Dragon is okay to eat.
