Daylight savings is early this year

Just a reminder that the date of daylight savings has changed and will be next Sunday, March 11. The new date is supposed to save even more energy. Gentlemen, set your clocks forward.

It would probably also be reasonable to go forth and find whatever patches your computer needs to deal with this.

No doubt Congress has set up the process for determining how much energy this will save. No doubt.

If you have a Mac of whatever sort simply go to "Software Updates" in the apple icon pulldown menu at the top left corner or go to the Apple downloads page.

If you have not yet escaped from the Evil Empire, you can find the Microsoft Daylight Savings Time support page here.

Even if you believe you have automated your updates you should check manually just because. I thought I had, and I did, and I found that I hadn't so I did.

My pc is over 5 years old and CNN told us that if our computers are over two we're on our own.

My pc leaped forward one hour at the proper moment. I was not surprised.

And I didn't have to do a thing.

(Of course, I use XP and allow MS to send me updates.)
