Big Lizards:Blog:Entry “In-BEDDD Bloggers”: "Bush the elder betrayed the god of conservatism; so many conservatives, who seem to believe moral weakness is a genetic trait (found on chromosome 19, perhaps), have assumed from the very beginning that Bush the younger was just waiting for a chance to do the same. Whether it's Harriet Miers, Dubai Ports World, or throwing Iraq to Iran like a baby to a hungry lion, these lay-a-BEDDDs are predisposed to believe the absolute worst of President Bush.
It's not just unseemly or even unjust; it's creepy. Why don't we all just back off and at least wait to see (a) what the Baker commission's recommendations are, (b) how Bush responds to them, and (c) what he can persuade the Democrats to do? It won't be long before we find out all of these; and there is nothing we can do in the meantime to affect the outcome of any of them anyway."

How dare anyone make sense at times like these. Don't they know that pundits have TV ratings and magazine subscriptions to worry about?
I read that too and I have to agree with Dafydd.
People need to shut up and let Bush do what he has to do.
In fact he has another post up today and makes mention of what I noticed yesterday: American officials going to Iraq and leaning on Maliki hard to deal with Sadr.
And Bush and Blair are not offering the Iranians anything to help with Iraq, they are letting them know that they will seek to completely isolate them if they do not cooperate.
This Iraqi Survey Group has several members. I read over at JOM {clarice I think} that Rudy Gulliani is one of the people in the group. Congress created it and Bush could not just ignore it. It might even give some Democrats some cover for helping with Iraq.
But I have to say that I am getting tired of people always jumping the gun. You would think they would learn after awhile.
