Did you know there is a Muslim tradition of picturing Mohammed?

Melanie Phillips has a great, must read post up on the "cartoon jihad", chock full of important information and Melanie's usual stark illumination of our "leaders'" and "protectors'" cowardice and b.s.

Phillips is correct about this being a reaction to the knot tightening around Iran's throat.

When the "This J-Dam's for you" campaign begins against the Iranian nuclear program sites it's going to have rather wide support accross Europe. Will that support be evidence of the continuing rejection of the idiocy of tranzi multiculturalism and "respect for diversity"?

That's the most important question - the one that Finkielkraut can't bring himself to resolve. Phillips has resolved the issue (probably quite some time ago) and lays out the insanity and weakness of the Western government trying to maintain an ambiguous stance in the face of totalitarian evil.

I hope that the US comments were just "nice doggy" remarks, covering up the reach for the big rock but I'm not positive. Dr. Rice simply must get the Arabist leeches out of the State Department.

From the home page;

"The content of Flares Into Darkness is subject solely to the personal whim of its contributors. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any and all posts or comments, at any time, for any reason which takes our entirely capricious fancy, or for no particular reason whatsoever, without restriction."

Simple enough?

Mark, you'll notice that your comments seem to have particular difficulty staying up.

This is not accidental.
