Clueless Carter

Today in the Washington Post, Democrat former one-term president Jimmy Carter said:
"Israel should withdraw from all Lebanese territory, including Shebaa Farms, and release the Lebanese prisoners."

The BBC reported that the prisoner most wanted for release by Hezbollah is Samir Qantar. We previously reported on this evil child-murderer here. According to the child's mother, Qantar "smashed my little [4-yr.old] girl's skull in against a rock with his rifle butt."
---
Carter also said: "[I]t is inhumane and counterproductive to punish civilian populations in the illogical hope that somehow they will blame Hamas and Hezbollah for provoking the devastating response."

Somehow Carter missed the point that Hezbollah is hiding behind the women and children. See our report below where an eyewitness says Hezbollah "buil[t] a school and apartments over this bunker [containing weapons and rockets]." Also see the pictures that damn Hezbollah.

I hate this man. He has done more damage to the world than almost anyone since WWII. As in ancient days, when he dies, his name should be chisled off every public edifice and cut out of every official document.

CF:

I voted for him twice. What was I thinking? He has turned into a reliable mouthpiece for all things left, pro arab and anti Israeli.

He started out as a middle of the road Southern Democrat with a moderate pro civil rights record.

Everything he writes now is a signal to me to go in the opposite direction.

I voted for him once. I'm only half as guilty as you.

He is quite an amalgam of ditzy moralizing and utter ignorance of the consequences of his deluded thinking.(He did get worse after he lost his bid for a second term. I think like many narcissists, it's apres moi le deluge even if he has to work hard to get that result.)

Are you saying that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter?

This is undoubtedly so. But as long as my freedom fighters/terrorists win I'm happy.
