The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.'"

Now, when was that written, and what was the topic?

I missed by two years. I pegged it at '73 and I was wondering if it was Hal Lindsey supporting his global cooling theory by dissing 'early warmers'. I even remember the 'global famine' end timers pretty well.

I wonder what comes after warming?

After warming comes global eating of leftovers, which is what we usually do with turkeys ;>).

The part about the planners needing to act soon gives it away. How could they have been so naive as to put their faith in central planning? Perhaps it is our lack of such talismans today that accounts for the hysteria that is out there?

Yes, we must act soon! Therefore we should put Norm Minetta in charge of everything.
