U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton has proposed a gag order in the Libby case, writing that "on several occasions information has been distributed to the press by counsel, which has included not only public statements, but also the dissemination of material that had not been filed on the public docket."
What's up with this? Any inside info?

The AP had a story last night suggesting strongly that the Judge was angry that Libby had released Fitz' corrective letter to the press before it had been filed. Today's Post is far more neutral, not indicating anything about what had triggered it. For all we know it could have been Fitz' responsive pleading with the erroneous NIE assertion that did set off a firestorm of negative, anti-Administration press.
