Grand Jury Investigating NSA Leaks

Saturday, July 29, 2006
A federal grand jury has begun investigating the leak of classified information about intelligence programs to the press and has subpoenaed a former National Security Agency employee.

The former employee, Russell D. Tice, 44, of Linthicum, Md., said two F.B.I. agents approached on Wednesday and handed him the subpoena, which requires him to testify next Wednesday before a grand jury in Alexandria, Va.

I don't know if Tice will ever see that this program is and has always been legal but Tice and Sibel will continue to play the PR game.

Unless reported otherwise by the conservative blog reporters.

Tice's innitial claim to fame was that he reported a female colleague for suspicious circumstances, being Chinese, apparently living above here means and taking holidays.
His superiors ignored this,he was given psychological tests, which he passed, but was gradually demoted to the motor pool and thence to cleaning warehouses.
Interestingly, he leaked to the NYT before claiming 2Whistle blower.
Another analyst gone ape,the CIA should revamp their recruitment policies.
Thsi one would look more at home in "Cheers" than "Casino Royale".

Russell Tice needs to spend a long time in jail if found guilty in a court of law. A clear message must be sent to other members of the intelligence community. It is probably a coincidence, but this investigation should also hurt the Democrats in November.
