Those four cups of joe in the morning, combined with a few brewskies or a dram or two of the water of life in the evening should guarantee I'll see my 100th birthday.
I take it as a given.

My rule of thumb is this - if you're sleepy when you shouldn't be, drink more coffee. If your head hurts and your heart is beating really fast, drink less coffee. Otherwise, you're in the sweet spot.
If you're sleepy when you shouldn't be and your head hurts and your heart is beating really fast, you need a vaction.
If you're on vacation, and you're sleepy when you shouldn't be and your head hurts and your heart is beating really fast, you need a cup of coffee.
If your eyes are open and you're not drinking coffee, you need another cup of coffee.
If your eyes are closed and you're drinking coffee, you need to drink faster.
