Actually, some moron will almost inevitably try the upside down trick stuff and shoot somebody. That's often the way these things go...

That was incredible. What a weapon. Are we issuing these yet? What gage was it?

But, regardless of the weapon, that guy is one helluva shot.

Arrgggh, how do I convince my significant better by 4/5ths that I need this? Who, incidentally, hated weapons until I introduced her to the thrill of target shooting with a single shot 22. Alas, too many years ago, and nothing since.

Any gunshop would be happy to "issue one". 12 gauge. Between about $1,100 and $1,500, depending on how duded up you want it. Very nice and smooth. Great quality and very good in bad weather, such as is likely in goose hunting.

Recoil is fairly mild and a number of aftermarket devices are available to reduce it further. Your wife might enjoy it.
