More Retrocomputing

The Ternary (base 3) calculator and 1960's desktop calculators. (I remember those Frieden machines.)

Babbage's Difference Engine built from LEGOs.

The GENIAC. Couldn't afford this one when I was a kid.

Don't forget the CURTA. Designed by Curt Herzstark while he was a prisoner in the Buchenwald concentration camp, and "... widely considered the best portable calculators available, until they were displaced by electronic calculators in the 1970s." (BTW, I have one of these in the original plastic case. The top screwed on in the reverse direction from normal caps.)
