BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Saddam Hussein was sentenced to hang by a U.S.-sponsored Iraqi court which found him guilty on Sunday of crimes against humanity.
The ousted president, visibly shaken, shouted out "Allahu Akbar!" (God is Greatest) and "Long live the nation!".
Gotta love Reuters. If Reuters really does not think this verdict is representative of the feelings of the Iraqi people they can always demand that Saddam be set free. We could all lay bets on how far past the door he would get. I think his fate would be much the same as another fascist.

Did Karl Rove slip a few bucks to the judge? Saddam's death sentence should help on Tuesday. It reminds people why we went to Iraq. I do, however, wish the recent news about Iraq's atom bomb project was released a little sooner.

they should wire the trap door so that it only opens when a majority of iraqi voters have pressed a button. Leave him hanging on whether he is still the President of Iraq.
