The poll was clearly rigged to "push an agenda", to use the phrase on AnkleBitingPundits. But I wonder: why does anyone still take polls seriously? They have clearly become yet another weapon in the eternal war.
I think it is like a contest, a competition of sorts to see who can get the last damn word.oh yeah....says who...says me...
AP/Ipsos did this, as well with the poll that showed Bushs' support at only 39%.AP Ipsos is a French company, and there polls somehow always seem to reflect French public opinion. Odd, huh?http://cuanas.blogspot.com/2005/11/who-hell-is-apipsos-anyway-youre-not.html
All the old tricks: underrepresent Republicans, underrepresent registered (let alone likely) voters, questionable geography...was it a weekend poll as well? This is really getting boring.
