Siberian fast food joints

As a Florida boy for me Siberia is so cold it is hard to imagine, unless you're Jussie Smollett, going out in the cold to a fast food restaurant for some convenience food. Of course Siberians are used to their climate and when the urge hits, the urge hits.

Matt and Julia are a young English couple that travel and make YouTubes and guides. Above is their video about Siberian fast food restaurants. While the usual international chains are starting to open stores in the area, there are smaller local chains that have menus offering more local fare. It is these chains that they sample.

Fast food from a 7-Eleven in Singapore

A tour of a 7-11 in Singapore that shows us the food and drinks they have available. Needless to say, the choices are quite different then my local Floridian 7-11 with its hotdogs, cheeseburgers, Mexican foods, slurpies and what-not.

I must say, while who knows how good the quality is considering it is convenience store fast food after all, a lot of the stuff looked interesting. The elaborately packaged coconut near the end of the video was the most surprising to me.

American fast food around the world

Japanese Corn Dog Crust Pizza- yum, yum.
Much like American Chinese food has only a passing resemblance to actual Chinese food, American fast food menus in other countries can be barely recognizable. I wonder if they think we actually eat this sort of stuff?

There are more examples after the jump. From My Picture Mania's post Fast food around the globe which has even more examples.
