You know you're out of ideas when...'re hoping for an invasion by space aliens to save our economy.

Paul Krugman, the Nobel Prize winner and Enron adviser, first whines about the difficulty of kick-starting inflation in today's economy, then turns to science fiction where he waxes on about the benefits space aliens invading Earth would bring to the economy. Obviously he hasn't been watching Falling Skies, 'cause the post alien invasion economy of that show leaves something to be desired.

By the way, I'm pretty sure he's thinking of the Outer Limits episode  The Architects of Fear and not a Twilight Zone episode, so he can't even get that right.
