WWII Lancaster crew chatter



The above video is a short bit of chatter from a Lancaster bomber on a bombing run. At about45 seconds in a German plane on the there tail fires at them. You hear the return fire, and the tension and excitement in their voices as the gunner reports he shot the German down. Then the captain then steadies them. 

Their inflections and speaking patterns are interesting. Very civilized and proper seeming. I wonder how much cussing you would hear on such a recording today?
